Hello, Hello all. hmm, here's a piece that has been done for quite a long time, but i never got around to uploading. anyways here it is.

so yeah, this is just a bunch of concept sketches for a character in a possible webcomic idea that i'm planning on creating. Anyways, you could say that they are two characters who are forced to share one body. The human is named Trent, while the Demon HAD a really cool name earlier, which I have since forgot, so now I am merely calling him Krai. I need to find some sort of clothes design for them still... really not sure what to go with. He acts as a guard to a princess, so it should be at least noble-ish, but it's gotta suit Krai too... very difficult I think.

Anyways, about my life. Last week I had injured myself skateboarding which has resulted in me having some difficulty keeping up with everything that needs to be done in life. That compounded with my extremely lazy personality has reulted in----- w/e. this is a boring subject. Looking at the bright side, I now know what it's like to be a cripple. and it sucks. also. I think I am now able to tell when it'll rain, because my heel has been hurting EXTREMELY MUCH since last night. omg. ohhh the painnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.. anyways, enough complaining on my part. Java has been pretty interesting so far. I'm actually understanding it amazingly. Vis 22 is extremely boring, as is Humanities. Physics is..... w/e. I wish I could find something more exciting to do right now. ah well, that's life. Time to find joy in the simple things.

Final Part of Retro Art

Well, not much left to say, I believe this makes the last bit of the salvaged old art from my computer. I wish I still had more to show and remember, but that's life. As for how life has been going up to date, things have been pretty good. I'm really worried about some of my classes, especially JAVA. I don't know why, but it seems like my brain just seems to have a really difficult time wrapping around this programming concept. I still would like to know how on earth they even made the very first computer. Like HOW did they somehow make a bunch of metal and other materials suddenly be able to interpret user based inputs? Like TV's I can understand, because it just acts as a display, but aggghhh. Well, w/e. I don't know how, but Physics has ended up as my easiest class so far. Maybe I'm just not good at having to read stuff. Well, either way, I guess I'll just have to deal.

Been feeling a little bit lonely recently, but it's alright i guess. I think I'm just being greedy or envious of others, I can't tell really. Still, I finally actually played tennis with my suitemates, haha, it was really cool. Actually ended up winning doubles. =] Missed out on the moon rising yesterday, but I did get to see it. It was REALLY bright I have to say. Took a picture, but it's nothing special. Turned out to merely look like the sun was shining in a black sky, LOL! I need to increase my appetite somehow.... been wasting a lot of food getting what I'm usually accustomed to, and then not finishing.... or i need a refrigerator.

Thought I'd upload some of the more recent stuff that I've been working on. These are just simple compositions of the individual portraits that I've been working on.

First one that I've done featuring the prominent female cast.Second group, finished just yesterday featuring the boys of the group. Had to shrink it a lot to get it to fit on my desktop, due to the fact that they are spaced farther apart. Stupid males, you're not in elementary school, you should know that you guys don't have cooties by now.

ANYWAYS. WOW. a whole year has passed. 2008. gone. Well, damn. It's been a good year I have to say. If I had actually made any New Years Resolutions, I think I couldn't have fulfilled them any better than I've done now. This year's encompassed an ending and a beginning for me, transitioning from High School to College. I've met a whole Bunch of new people at UCSD, and have gotten to know a lot of people a lot better that I never really talked to back home. Bleh, I'm not good at blogging, my mind gets distracted to easily, so I'll cut to the end of my thoughts. Something I plan to do for this break is to spend my vacations actually doing something OTHER than Rest and Relaxation, cuz honestly? this break has seemed a whee bit TOO long. Happy New Years everyone, and enjoy the year. =]

Retro Art, Part 4

hmm... i think i might've been using the term "retro" inappropriately... maybe. well, w/e I do not believe anyone has found out about the awesomeness of this blog anyways, so who cares. Anyways, here are the Leion (pronounced like Lay-on), a race of feline humanoids or bipeds, or w/e term you wanna use. well, one of them is more fox like, than feline, but more details about that later. Anyways, the influence of this race's genesis is probably due to my brother's artistic style centering upon furry art. Anyways... here they are:So here is something i did 2 years ago, none too great, but it depicts one of the cycles center to the storyline. Depiction of Felinar, the cursed, attacking Wreish, who is somewhat of an outcast among the leion, due to his half-as yet to be named demon blood, which is that of a vampiric bat like race. The fox like female, whose more foxlike features do not show up from this little bit is named Celesti, sister to Wreish, and former mate of Felinar. Alrighty, i think that's enough of a briefing.

I gave him long hair because among the Leion, who take the characteristics of lions, males tend to have longer hair... like you know a mane.... capicce?Here is a picture again of the older generation guys. no date on this one, but pretty old too. this is before the whole story begins, as Wreish looks like he is in his early teen years (to me at least) Forgot what the Chief guy in the back's name was before he became Felinar... looks very odd too. too skinny. and there's Celesti.

I believe they are all part of the Sun Tribe. More on this later, but the Leion are divided into two main tribes, the Sun and the Wind. oh shoot... i dearly hope i still have my concept stuff... hope it's not in my lost binder... very sad...-_-

Alright. and now about my life at UCSD. Very Very busy. and I've recently built up a well of ambiguous anger, and with no direction to aim it at, apparently my body seems to attack itself while i sleep. somehow i've accumulated a few scratches and stuff, w/o my awareness, and just this morning, i woke up to find my pinky and ring finger completely numb. anyways, it's almost 12 am so--- inspirational awe-inspiring stuff will have to wait.

Ravenous Concept Art

hmm trying to get back into the habit of drawing. Concept art for one of the demon species within Zeral's World, the Ravenous:The Ravenous come into the world with no sense of identity, and their only desire is to fulfill their hunger by preying upon a victim and consuming their identity, in effect replacing them. The Ravenous tend to hunt in packs and although quite fearsome in their own right, with the frenzy of their hunger fueling their attacks, what is possibly more terrifying is the dawning realization that they are stealing the aspects of who you are. Given enough time, the Ravenous will complete the transformation and then seek to eliminate their quarry in order to fully replace them. The weakness of the ravenous lies within the transition time from a berserk demon into a sophisticated individual. During this time period those of strong will must strike out against the grotesque image that is a blend of themselves and a monster.
