I actually did this about 2 weeks ago. This was a redux of an earlier sketch.

Currently there are a bunch of stupid college students creating a lot of noise in my ICAM lecture... a lecture that already sucks enough. well w/e. i might add more to this later.

Okay, Kidding aside, I got my internship job! woottt! well, this was a couple of days ago, my first day working was actually on thursday, but yeah, I'm having a great time now. Felt inspired to do some art to.

Yeah.. so these are just some sketches i did today. and i'm--- disappointed to say the least. disappointed in my ability to finish pieces through to the end, and and disappointed that i've suddenly lost all my ability to draw. This quarter feels so. empty.

Finalsss

SOOOOO i had my first final for the quarter to--- err yesterday. Annddd this was what i was working on before my final... instead of studying... haha....It's still vey rough, but w/e. I'm done working on it.... I'm just not good at this type of stuff.
So yeah... i finally actually drew something and scanned it in. first one for the quarter. Woot!

Yeah..... so I realized i happened to miss a day. I've actually been feeling pretty inspired lately though-- honest. justtt not in the artsy kinda way, haha. Been working on a custom map in WCIII. ANYWAYS. I'll just talk about this next piece, b/c my life is not worth talking about right now.This is Larskein, the one who pretty much started everything for me.

I honestly have no idea where I originally came up with his design. I guess i just thought it was cool to have that helmet like thing, i guess it probably reminded me of a falcon or something. As for the tail, my inspiration must likely have come from both the Andalites (sp?) in Animorphs, along with Cluny the Scourge from Red Wall. This pieces lighting and stuff is not quite as good as it ought to be, but --- eh alright i honestly have no defense for my laziness lol.

hahahaha, wow. i almost failed on day 1 (or is it 2 now? of my "daily blog posts") haha, so I've started drawing stuff now, nothing worth posting. Was reworking an older character design for a character that i thought up. Was planning on including him in the Trent/Krai and Aerrin Story Line. Hopefully I'll be able to get a concrete design up soon and then I shall upload that. but for now enjoy:

This is Kate, short for Katherine. She's one of the Leion who I've mentioned before, those feline bipeds yeah? no? well if you don't know, just look at her, she looks like a cat. on two legs. ok. Anyways, you MAY be wondering why her fur is blue. "Are all of the Leion blue furred?" The answer to that is no. "Did she dye it then?" once again, no. She's actually of a mixed race. like about... 3/4 Leion, and 1/4 ummm..... demon bat thing that i shall find a fixed name for soon.... so sad. Only demon race that I've been set on are the Ravenous. That super bad ass one that i posted a long time ago, =]. haha, anyways, her parents are the former Chieftain of the--- Sun Tribe Leion. Btw, there are two main tribes to the Leion, The Sun, and the Wind. I believe i have the rough concept sketches of those. I must check at a later date.

Yeah... so back to studying for Finals. I have no lifeeeeee. But I got free food! =]

Time to start a "Daily" Blogpost whooooooo~!

Hmm, so I realize i haven't posted here in forever, so to instigate some creativity, i shall now commence putting up a daily drawing, and if i can't manage that, will probably at least post up a piece from my cards project reserve. Haha, alright not really, but i don't really feel like talking about the characters too much. I mean seriously, aren't you guys more interested in my personal life? No? Anyone? =( haha anywayssssssssssss The creature wrapped around her is basically an elemental companion, this one being ice/water based. Her weapon is pretty much a plasma blade of some sort. Thattt's pretty much all you need to know for now.

Finals are coming up, and what do you know, suddenly I'm seized by an urge for creative inspiration. I think this is becoming a trend....a lousy trend... Why doesn't the inspiration come up when i actually have TIME....... Seriously.... a little bit worried for finals.... Wish me luck?

2nd Quarter update

Hmm.... i realize i haven't updated this blog in nearly a month now. Although I'd like to tell myself that it's because I've been doing some Crazily Amazingly Fun Things, the truth is, I honestly have been just lacking stuff to talk about.

Oh. lol, wow. I COMPLETELY forgot to talk about how I've become a cripple, lolzzzzz. Well, one day, I fractured my ankle. The End. ok, moving on. hmm---- I don't seem to have any pictures on my laptop atm. Blogging while waiting for my Humanities class of Boredom to start. well, here's one, sortof----Yeah.... I was bored...

Anyways.....moving on! Art History and Humanities together are probably one of the lamest combination of classes I've ever encountered. Well, at least the lectures are. I suppose Humanities can have its merits, but, really, Chodorow does not know how to lecture at all. Oh wow, people are arriving! time to sign off now then. Cheerio~!

Hello, Hello all. hmm, here's a piece that has been done for quite a long time, but i never got around to uploading. anyways here it is.

so yeah, this is just a bunch of concept sketches for a character in a possible webcomic idea that i'm planning on creating. Anyways, you could say that they are two characters who are forced to share one body. The human is named Trent, while the Demon HAD a really cool name earlier, which I have since forgot, so now I am merely calling him Krai. I need to find some sort of clothes design for them still... really not sure what to go with. He acts as a guard to a princess, so it should be at least noble-ish, but it's gotta suit Krai too... very difficult I think.

Anyways, about my life. Last week I had injured myself skateboarding which has resulted in me having some difficulty keeping up with everything that needs to be done in life. That compounded with my extremely lazy personality has reulted in----- w/e. this is a boring subject. Looking at the bright side, I now know what it's like to be a cripple. and it sucks. also. I think I am now able to tell when it'll rain, because my heel has been hurting EXTREMELY MUCH since last night. omg. ohhh the painnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.. anyways, enough complaining on my part. Java has been pretty interesting so far. I'm actually understanding it amazingly. Vis 22 is extremely boring, as is Humanities. Physics is..... w/e. I wish I could find something more exciting to do right now. ah well, that's life. Time to find joy in the simple things.

Final Part of Retro Art

Well, not much left to say, I believe this makes the last bit of the salvaged old art from my computer. I wish I still had more to show and remember, but that's life. As for how life has been going up to date, things have been pretty good. I'm really worried about some of my classes, especially JAVA. I don't know why, but it seems like my brain just seems to have a really difficult time wrapping around this programming concept. I still would like to know how on earth they even made the very first computer. Like HOW did they somehow make a bunch of metal and other materials suddenly be able to interpret user based inputs? Like TV's I can understand, because it just acts as a display, but aggghhh. Well, w/e. I don't know how, but Physics has ended up as my easiest class so far. Maybe I'm just not good at having to read stuff. Well, either way, I guess I'll just have to deal.

Been feeling a little bit lonely recently, but it's alright i guess. I think I'm just being greedy or envious of others, I can't tell really. Still, I finally actually played tennis with my suitemates, haha, it was really cool. Actually ended up winning doubles. =] Missed out on the moon rising yesterday, but I did get to see it. It was REALLY bright I have to say. Took a picture, but it's nothing special. Turned out to merely look like the sun was shining in a black sky, LOL! I need to increase my appetite somehow.... been wasting a lot of food getting what I'm usually accustomed to, and then not finishing.... or i need a refrigerator.

First one that I've done featuring the prominent female cast.Second group, finished just yesterday featuring the boys of the group. Had to shrink it a lot to get it to fit on my desktop, due to the fact that they are spaced farther apart. Stupid males, you're not in elementary school, you should know that you guys don't have cooties by now.

ANYWAYS. WOW. a whole year has passed. 2008. gone. Well, damn. It's been a good year I have to say. If I had actually made any New Years Resolutions, I think I couldn't have fulfilled them any better than I've done now. This year's encompassed an ending and a beginning for me, transitioning from High School to College. I've met a whole Bunch of new people at UCSD, and have gotten to know a lot of people a lot better that I never really talked to back home. Bleh, I'm not good at blogging, my mind gets distracted to easily, so I'll cut to the end of my thoughts. Something I plan to do for this break is to spend my vacations actually doing something OTHER than Rest and Relaxation, cuz honestly? this break has seemed a whee bit TOO long. Happy New Years everyone, and enjoy the year. =]
